Your searches, the listings they find and your watch list all belong to an account. Add someone to that account and they get the same alerts and the same watch list you have, plus a message thread on every listing that only your members can read.
Have them sign up first
An invitation is matched to an existing Marketplace Alerts account by email address. If nobody has signed up with the address you type, nothing happens — and you still get a success message, so you will not know.
So before you invite anyone: have them install the app, sign up, and tell you which email address they used. Type that exact address.
You also have to be an Owner of the account, and the account needs an active subscription. Without one, Invite by Email is greyed out and reads “An active subscription is required to invite members”.
Send the invitation
Open Settings and find the account under Accounts.

Type the address they signed up with, and pick Member unless you want them to be able to invite and remove people too.
You get the same confirmation either way: “If a user with this email exists, they will be added to the account.” To find out whether it worked, look at the members list. A match is sitting in it with a Pending badge.

What they do next
The invitation waits in their Settings, under Pending Invitations.
Pending Invitations
You have been invited to join the following accounts:
Denver
You were invited to join this account
When they tap Accept, the Pending badge in your members list turns into their role and they can use the account. Decline deletes the invitation — send another if it was a mistake.
What the two of you now share
You are both working from the same account:
- The searches. Either of you can add, edit or turn off a search.
- The listings those searches find, and the watch list you build from them.
- Alerts. A new match, a price change or a sold item notifies every member of the account, not just whoever set the search up.
- The Discussion on each listing.
A Member can do all of that. Three things are Owner-only: inviting people, removing people, and changing the account’s own settings — its name, city, radius and active hours.
Talk about a listing in the Discussion
Every watched listing has a message row at the bottom of its card: who wrote last, the first line of it, and how long ago. Tap the row to open the thread.

Seller says it's still there. I can pick it up Saturday.
Private discussion...
Only the members of your account can read it. The seller cannot — the box says “Private discussion…” for a reason. To read the last message in full without opening the thread, long-press the row on the card.
The app posts into the same thread, so you can each see what the other did without asking:
Added to watch list, when either of you saves it.Price decreased: $400 → $250, when the seller changes the price.Changed status to Offered ($180), when one of you records an offer.
Every message notifies the other members. The notification shows who sent it and which listing it was on.
When you belong to more than one account
When you accept an invitation you will be part of multiple accounts. In Settings tap one to make it the active account.
Accounts
Switch between accounts. Only the active account will alert on new items.

Only your active account sends notifications about new matches. It also controls whether that account is running at all: an account only checks for new listings while at least one member has it active and their alerts are turned on.
That means a second account can keep working if someone else is using it and has it active, because its searches still run and they keep getting alerts. If you are the only member on that account and you switch away, its searches stop. Nothing is deleted — the searches, found items and watch list all remain — but no new listings are checked until you switch back to it.
On the Found, Watch and Searches screen, there is a switcher that lets you view that account’s items temporarily.

Whatever you pick there lasts until you leave the screen. The account you tapped in Settings remains the default, and the one your notifications come from.
If they are not getting notifications
Check these three, in this order.
Chat Notifications is set to Default account only. That is the default, and it means they only hear about listings in one account. If they are on two, Settings → Chat Notifications → All accounts.
Their alerts are paused. Pausing stops their listing messages as well. Yours keep coming: “Your alerts are paused. Other members on your active account will still receive theirs.”
They have no account selected. The Accounts section says “No account selected. Select an account to receive alerts on new items.” Tapping an account card selects it.
Remove someone
Open Manage Members and tap the minus beside their name, then Remove.
An Owner cannot remove another Owner, and a role cannot be changed after someone joins. To change one, remove them and invite them again with the role you want.
